Many Are Riding Alongside You

For several weeks, this image has been a recurring theme in what I have been seeing and writing.
As I pondered what to share next in the God of Solutions series, I began praying in the Spirit under my breath. In my mind, I saw a man dressed in white, holding a sword and riding a horse alongside the cab I was in.
Immediately, these words came to mind:
“Many are riding alongside you.”
Then I remembered the story of Elisha and his servant.
2 Kings 6:15–17 AMP
15 The servant of the man of God got up early and went out, and behold, there was an army with horses and chariots encircling the city. Elisha’s servant said to him, “Oh no, my master! What are we to do?”
16 Elisha answered, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
17 Then Elisha prayed and said, “Lord, please, open his eyes that he may see.” And the Lord opened the servant’s eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire surrounding Elisha.
Sometimes, we may feel as though we are going through life alone. But even when we cannot see it with our natural eyes, we are not alone.
The Holy Spirit is with us. Through Him, the Father and Jesus dwell within us. And the armies of heaven stand ready to fulfill the purposes and commands of God.
As I searched for more verses that spoke to what I had seen, I came across the following passage:
Revelation 19:11–14 AMP
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who was riding it is called Faithful and True (trustworthy, loyal, incorruptible, steady), and in righteousness He judges and wages war [on the rebellious nations].
12 His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many royal crowns; and He has a name inscribed [on Him] which no one knows or understands except Himself.
13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, [dazzling] white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
The armies of heaven follow the One called Faithful and True—the Word of God Himself.
He is trustworthy, loyal, incorruptible, and steady. He does not abandon His people, and He never fails to fulfill His Word.
Psalm 103:20–21 AMP
Bless the Lord, you His angels,
You mighty ones who do His commandments,
Obeying the voice of His word!
Bless the Lord, all you His hosts,
You who serve Him and do His will.
God’s angels—the mighty ones—obey the voice of His Word. And we can trust that our good Heavenly Father speaks good things over His children. His plans and purposes for us are good.
Matthew 26:53 AMP
Do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will immediately provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?
The Heavenly Father loves us just as He loves Jesus. Will He not also provide what is needed and send His angels to minister according to His will?
I believe the Heavenly Father is reminding us that although the journey may sometimes appear lonely, we are not alone. More are with us than those who are against us.
God is for us. He is our ever-present help, and His mighty ones stand ready to carry out His commands and obey the voice of His Word.
