Look Further Walk Farther
I have a favorite spot on the train where I feel like I can be alone even when I'm surrounded by a lot of people. And, as I was on my way to the weekly fellowship, I started to pray in tongues under my breath, with the intention to hear from the Heavenly Father, about what to do, especially when discouragement is thick in the air.
As I began to pray in tongues, the movie in my mind started to play. Jesus was standing in the streets. It was a dark street in the metropolis. And, in front of him, sprouted a rose, then a fault line started from where he was standing. The ground started to break, and a rose would pop out of the ground. This continued until it reached a man standing on the far side of the road. As I observed, the roses are much denser on the side where Jesus was standing than on the side where the man was standing. From Jesus' point of view, the roses are decreasing in number. But, from the man's point of view, the roses were increasing denser. Then, suddenly, I noticed that another Jesus was standing beside the man.
Immediately, the verse from Psalm 139:5 from the Passion Translation Bible was brought to my remembrance. And the verse goes, "You've gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. You have laid your hand on me!"
And that was the end of the vision.
And I believe the Heavenly Father is saying, "Look further and walk farther. What you are experiencing now doesn't compare to what I have prepared for you. For I plan to prosper you and not to harm you, trust that I am with you as you continue to walk the path I've prepared for you.
And this is the heart of the Heavenly Father:
Lift up your head and open the gates of your heart. Let me take my rightful place within you. Cast aside your deferred hopes and downcast spirit, and make room for my glory, my goodness, and my lovingkindness. What I have prepared for you is far more than you can hope for or imagine. Do not despise small beginnings, for I will finish what I have started in you. The foundation of Christ must be firmly established in your heart.
Heart to heart, and hand in hand, you will walk with your Shepherd. I have already gone ahead of you into your future and prepared the way for you. I am leading you to greener pastures than where you are now. I have protected you from your past, for your mistakes and failures do not define who you are. They have no power to define your future. I am with you, and I am for you. The abundant life that my Son has purchased for you is to be lived now and through eternity.
Continue to walk, continue to strike the ground, and watch the ground break beneath you. The seeds I have planted within you will open the path for you. Keep striking the ground by the power of my Spirit, for the ground will break not by your power or might, but by my Spirit working through you.
The vision I have shown you is where you need to set your eyes. Imagine far beyond your circumstances and look past your past failures. Absolutely nothing is impossible for the one who believes in the God of the impossible. I am a good Father, and I will not dangle a vision in front of you if I will not fulfill it. Truly, Truly, what I have said will come to pass if you just believe. Therefore, cast away unbelief and demolish the doubt in your heart, for you shall receive if you only believe.
Stir up the flame of faith in your heart and watch as your desert places bloom. As you break the hard ground of your heart, my favor will pour down like rain, and you will reap the harvest of my endless love. Nothing can separate you from my love, and you will break forth in singing and praise, for my glory shall be seen in you. Your life will be an advertisement of my glory, for I am with you, and you are with me.
So look further and walk farther. I have shown you the path of life. In me, there is fullness of joy. In my right hand, there are pleasures forevermore.
The ground is breaking, and look how far you’ve come. Look at how far we’ve journeyed together. This is the heart of the Heavenly Father.
Here are some verses for this word.
Psalms 139:5-10 TPT
You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. You have laid your hand on me! This is just too wonderful, deep, and incomprehensible! Your understanding of me brings me wonder and strength. Where could I go from your Spirit? Where could I run and hide from your face? If I go up to heaven, you’re there! If I go down to the realm of the dead, you’re there too! If I fly with wings into the shining dawn, you’re there! If I fly into the radiant sunset, you’re there waiting! Wherever I go, your hand will guide me. your strength will empower me.
Hosea 10:12 TPT
Sow seeds of righteousness for yourselves, and you will reap a harvest of God’s unending love. Break up the hard, fallow ground of your heart. For it is time to seek Yahweh’s favor until he comes to pour out righteousness on you like falling rain.
Zechariah 4:8-10 TPT
Also the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundations of this house, and his hands will finish it. Then you will know recognize, understand fully that the Lord of hosts has sent me as His messenger to you. Who with reason despises the day of small things beginnings? For these seven eyes shall rejoice when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the Lord which roam throughout the earth.”
Isaiah 35:1-6 TPT
The wilderness and the dry land will be glad. the Arabah desert will shout in exultation and blossom like the autumn crocus. It will blossom abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the majesty of Mount Carmel and the plain of Sharon. They will see the glory of the Lord, the majesty and splendor of our God. Encourage the exhausted, and make staggering knees firm. Say to those with an anxious and panic-stricken heart, “Be strong, fear not! Indeed, your God will come with vengeance for the ungodly. the retribution of God will come, but He will save you.” Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will shout for joy. For waters will break forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.
Psalms 16:5-11 TPT
The Lord is the portion of my inheritance, my cup—He is all I need. You support my lot. The boundary lines of the land have fallen for me in pleasant places. indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me. I will bless the Lord who has counseled me. indeed, my heart mind instructs me in the night. I have set the Lord continually before me. because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my glory—my innermost self—rejoices. my body too will dwell confidently in safety. For You will not abandon me to Sheol, the nether world, the place of the dead, nor will You allow Your Holy One to undergo decay. You will show me the path of life. in Your presence is fullness of joy. in Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.
