Be My Light
Out of the darkness. In this hour, the Heavenly Father is awakening His children. They are no longer to hide in the cave like kittens but are to emerge like roaring lions. The time for taking refuge in the cave is over. The time for licking wounds has passed. The time for dwelling on the pains of the past must come to an end.
In a series of visions—from the prayer post, the train, my desk, and now as I write this in a coffee shop—the Heavenly Father has been reminding us to step into the unconquerable light that Jesus has brought to us. Here are a few visions I would like to share:
I saw a man looking into a black hole of darkness. In that darkness, a hand broke through. it was Jesus. He took the man’s hand, and together they walked through the dark path. The scene shifted, and the man was then surrounded by other believers. I also saw God with long arms, wrapping His arms around His children.
In another instance, I saw a man sitting on a bench and table inside a cave. Jesus was standing at the opening of the cave. The scene changed, and Jesus was outside, in what seemed like a farmland with plots of land. Behind Him was a group of people, which I believe to be the remnant, rushing toward the land. I heard in my spirit, “Workers in the field.”
Next, I was reminded of a vision I had some time ago. It featured a cave with the Lion of Judah inside, and within it were men training with swords. The scene shifted, and the men walked out into the field, swords raised, marching in line.
Now, as I write this, I believe that the Heavenly Father is calling out to everyone who is suffering hardship, in debt, or discontented. He is reminding them that the Captain, Jesus, is calling them out of the cave of Adullam and into the field, where they are to become His warriors of light.
I also believe this is a call to equippers, disciplers, and teachers—to teach, train, and equip believers on how to reign in Christ. This is not just theoretical or intellectual knowledge of what Christ has done, but the real-life application of what it means to be a child of light, to put on the full armor of light in a dark world.
It is about stepping out from the shadows to confront darkness. It is about stepping into true identity in Christ—no longer afraid to be seen, known, or to act with kingdom purpose.
And, this is The Heart of the Heavenly Father. The alarm is ringing—it's time to awaken. This is a critical hour in the Spirit.
Awaken from complacency. Awaken from self-pity. Awaken from spiritual depression. Awaken from victimhood. For without faith, it is impossible to please Me. Without the true knowledge of who I am, My people are destroyed. Without the revelation of what My Son has purchased for you, you’ve settled for far less than your inheritance. Without discernment of the times and seasons, many have overstayed in the cave of refuge.
But the alarm is sounding—can you hear it?
Awake from deep slumber. Shake off lethargy. Step out of the shadows. For the Captain of Heaven’s Army is calling—it's time to march forward. Darkness is not your friend. The unconquerable Light has already come. Yet you’ve been deceived—befriending despair, nestling in the comfort of defeat, sinking into the cushion of past failures.
But victory is already yours in Christ. The finished work is finished—it is complete. Once you were in darkness, but now you are a child of Light. The life has already been given. The Light has already been released.
So grab hold of life, and let His light shine through you. For I see the brilliance of Christ’s glory in you—even when all you see is darkness. Open your eyes and see what I see: I see you through the Blood of the Lamb. I see you through the Light of Christ. And the same resurrection power that raised Him has also raised you. The same breath I breathed into Him, I have breathed into you.
Nothing is lacking. No, it is not incomplete. It is finished. It is complete. Now is the time to walk in freedom. Now is the time to rise as overcomers. Now is the time to take dominion over the promised land I have prepared for you.
There is no use in hiding in the cave—you were never meant to stay there. Step into the land I’ve called you to. Put off the old self. Make way for the new. Put on the armor of light. Swing your sword. Raise your shield. And the giants will fall.
I have raised you up so you can raise others. You were brought out of darkness—now lead others into the Light. I am gathering My children like a hen gathers her chicks. So be bold. Be courageous. Step out of the darkness.
For you are My fortified bronze shield, and I am your shield. I will save and protect you. I will rescue and redeem you. Be My light—and know this: the darkness will not overcome you. This is the Heart of the Heavenly Father.
Here are some verses for this word.
John 1:1-5 AMP
The Deity of Jesus Christ. In the beginning before all time was the Word Christ, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. He was continually existing in the beginning co-eternally with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him. and without Him not even one thing was made that has come into being. In Him was life and the power to bestow life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines on in the darkness, and the darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriate it or absorb it and is unreceptive to it.
Luke 13:31-35 AMP
At that very hour some Pharisees came up and said to Him, “Leave and go away from here, because Herod Antipas wants to kill You.” And He said to them, “Go and tell that fox that sly, cowardly man, ‘Listen carefully: I cast out demons and perform healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I reach My goal.’ Nevertheless I must travel on today and tomorrow and the day after that—for it cannot be that a prophet would die outside of Jerusalem. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones to death those messengers who are sent to her by God! How often I have wanted to gather your children together around Me, just as a hen gathers her young under her wings, but you were not willing! Listen carefully: your house is left to you desolate abandoned by God and destitute of His protection. and I say to you, you will not see Me until the time comes when you say, ‘Blessed to be celebrated with praise is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’”
1 Samuel 22:1-5 AMP
So David departed from there and escaped to the cave of Adullam. and when his brothers and all his father’s house heard about it, they went down there to him. Everyone who was suffering hardship, and everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented gathered to him. and he became captain over them. There were about four hundred men with him. And David went from there to Mizpah of Moab. and he said to the king of Moab, “Please let my father and my mother come out of Judah and stay with you until I know what God will do for me.” Then he left them with the king of Moab. and they stayed with him all the time that David was in the stronghold. Then the prophet Gad said to David, “Do not stay in the stronghold. leave, and go into the land of Judah.” So David left and went into the forest of Hereth.
2 Samuel 23:13-17 AMP
Then three of the thirty chief men went down and came to David at harvest time in the cave of Adullam, while an army of Philistines was encamped in the Valley of Rephaim. David was then in the stronghold, and the garrison of the Philistines was then in Bethlehem. And David had a craving and said, “Oh that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!” So the three mighty men broke through the camp of the Philistines, and drew water from the well of Bethlehem by the gate, and carried and brought it to David. But he would not drink it, but poured it out in worship to the Lord. And he said, “Far be it from me, O Lord, that I should drink this. Is it not the same as the blood of the men who went at the risk of their lives?” So he would not drink it. These things the three mighty men did.
Ephesians 5:6-14 AMP
Let no one deceive you with empty arguments that encourage you to sin, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience those who habitually sin. So do not participate or even associate with them in the rebelliousness of sin. For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. walk as children of Light live as those who are native-born to the Light for the fruit the effect, the result of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth, trying to learn by experience what is pleasing to the Lord and letting your lifestyles be examples of what is most acceptable to Him—your behavior expressing gratitude to God for your salvation. Do not participate in the worthless and unproductive deeds of darkness, but instead expose them by exemplifying personal integrity, moral courage, and godly character. for it is disgraceful even to mention the things that such people practice in secret. But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light of God’s precepts, for it is light that makes everything visible. For this reason He says, “Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine as dawn upon you and give you light.”
Jeremiah 15:15-21 AMP
Jeremiah cried out to the Lord, saying, “O Lord, You know and understand. remember me thoughtfully, take notice of me, and take vengeance on my persecutors. Do not, in view of Your patience, take me away. know that for Your sake I endure continual rebuke and dishonor. Your words were found and I ate them, and they became my joy and the delight of my heart, for I have been called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts. I did not sit with those who celebrate, nor did I rejoice. I sat alone because Your powerful hand was upon me, for You had filled me with indignation at their sin. Why has my pain been perpetual and my wound incurable, refusing to be healed? Will You indeed be to me like a deceptive brook with unreliable water?” Then the Lord answered, “If you repent and give up this mistaken attitude of despair and self-pity, I will restore you to a state of inner peace so that you may stand before Me as My obedient representative. If you separate the precious from the worthless—examining yourself and cleansing your heart from unwarranted doubt concerning My faithfulness—you will become My spokesman. Let the people turn to you and learn to value My values, but you must not turn to them or regard their idolatry and wickedness. I will make you to this people a fortified wall of bronze. they will fight against you, but they will not prevail, for I am with you always to save and protect you,” says the Lord. “So I will rescue you from the hand of the wicked and redeem you from the grasping palm of the terrible and ruthless tyrant.”
Romans 13:11-14 AMP
Do this, knowing that this is a critical time. It is already the hour for you to awaken from your sleep of spiritual complacency. for our salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed in Christ. The night this present evil age is almost gone and the day of Christ’s return is almost here. So let us fling away the works of darkness and put on the full armor of light. Let us conduct ourselves properly and honorably as in the light of day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and irresponsibility, not in quarreling and jealousy. But clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for nor even think about gratifying the flesh in regard to its improper desires.
Psalm 23 AMP
Yahweh is my best friend and my shepherd. I always have more than enough. He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace near the quiet brook of bliss. That’s where he restores and revives my life. He opens before me the right path and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honor to his name. Even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for you already have! Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for you are near. You become my delicious feast even when my enemies dare to fight. You anoint me with the fragrance of your Holy Spirit. you give me all I can drink of you until my cup overflows. So why would I fear the future? Only goodness and tender love pursue me all the days of my life. Then afterward, when my life is through, I’ll return to your glorious presence to be forever with you!
